Cookie notice
This cookie notice explains what cookies we use on Sportflowpath, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a site. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over time.
This notice covers cookies and similar local storage technologies that we use on Sportflowpath.
The three categories we use
We group cookies into three categories. You can decide which categories you accept, except for the necessary ones, which are required for the site to function.
Necessary cookies
These are essential to operate the site. They include cookies that remember your cookie preference itself, security tokens, and load balancing markers.
Necessary cookies cannot be disabled because the site would not work without them. They do not collect personally identifying information.
Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors browse the site — which articles they read, how long they stay, where they enter and leave. We use aggregated data only and never identify individual readers.
Analytics cookies are disabled by default. You can turn them on or off in the cookie preferences panel.
Marketing cookies
These cookies are used to suggest content that might interest you, both on our site and through trusted partners. They are also disabled by default and can be controlled in the preferences panel.
Sportflowpath does not currently run paid ads, but we may use marketing cookies for organic promotions of our own newsletter.
How to manage preferences
When you first visit the site, a banner appears at the bottom of the page with three options: accept all, customize, or reject all. The choice is saved in a small cookie for up to one hundred and eighty days.
To change your choice later, click the small cookie icon in the footer area, or clear your browser cookies for this site and visit again.
You can also disable cookies entirely in your browser settings. Each browser handles this slightly differently — consult its help section for instructions.
Third-party cookies
Some of our analytics and email delivery services may set cookies of their own. They are bound by contracts that require them to handle your data carefully and not to use it for unrelated purposes.
We review our partners periodically and remove any that no longer meet our standards.
Local storage
Some site features may use local storage in your browser to remember your preferences (for example, a chosen reading size). This information stays on your device and is not sent to our servers.
How long cookies stay
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period — usually no more than one hundred and eighty days. Our consent cookie expires after one hundred and eighty days, after which the banner will appear again.
Children and cookies
Sportflowpath is not aimed at children. If you are under sixteen, please ask a parent or guardian before accepting cookies.
Updates
We may update this cookie notice when we change tools or partners. The current version date is shown below.
