Privacy notice
This privacy notice explains how Sportflowpath collects, uses and protects information shared with us.
Who we are
Sportflowpath is a small editorial project based in Toronto, Canada. The blog is operated by an independent team of two writers and is not affiliated with any clinical institution.
For matters related to this notice, contact us at hello@sportflowpath.com or by post at 318 Spadina Ave, Suite 402, Toronto, ON M5T 2E7, Canada.
What data we collect
We collect only the information needed to publish the blog and respond to readers. The main categories are:
- Subscription data — first name, email, and optionally a phone number, submitted through our newsletter form.
- Message data — the content of messages you send us through the contact form.
- Technical data — basic information your browser shares automatically, such as device type and an approximate region, used for general site analytics.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under sixteen years of age.
Why we collect it
We use the data to:
- Send the newsletter you signed up for.
- Reply to your messages and questions.
- Understand which articles are useful so we can write better ones.
- Comply with applicable Canadian and provincial regulations.
Legal basis
We process personal information based on your consent, on our legitimate interest in operating an informational blog, and where required by law.
You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before that moment.
How long we keep it
Newsletter information is retained for as long as you remain subscribed and for a short period afterwards in our backups.
Contact form messages are kept for up to twenty-four months, then deleted unless the conversation is still open.
Technical analytics are retained in aggregated form only.
Who has access
Only the two editors of Sportflowpath have direct access to your data. We use a small number of trusted service providers (email delivery, hosting, analytics) under written agreements that require them to protect your information.
We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you.

Cookies
We use a small number of cookies. The list and how to manage them are described in our cookie notice.
